Bella Vista Cilurzo Vineyard & Winery is known for being the first commercial vineyard in Temecula. Current owner Imre Cziraki has been making wine since he was a seven year old boy in his native country of Hungary. His grandfather taught him the art and science of winemaking which lead to his first vineyard purchase in 1982. He purchased the Bella Vista vineyard in 1998 and the rest of the property in 2004.
The wine selection includes a variety of red, white, dessert and champagne. Some of their most popular selections include a '06 Chardonnay, '05 Sauvignon Blanc, and '07 Viognier. The tasting room is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours starting in early April. Wine tastings cost $10 for six tastes.
